2008 Meetings PPOM meets the third Thursday of the month at 12pm (except June, July, August and December) at the Warren Memorial Library, 479 Main Street, Westbrook, Maine. We have a short business meeting followed by a program with a speaker, film, painting demonstration or critique. Members often paint together after the meetings. Meeting location and programs subject to change. January 15, Warren Memorial Library, Westbrook--Hunter Editions, Giclée reproductions. Life model/still life paint-in after meeting. February 21, Warren Memorial Library, Westbrook--Paint-in, dancers from Portland Ballet. No general meeting. March 20, Warren Memorial Library, Westbrook--Phil Paratore, "Creating a Series of Paintings"--Life model/still life paint-in after meeting. April 17, River Tree Center for the Arts, Kennebunk--Tim Parks, PSA Master Pastellist, demonstration. Paint-out at the Franciscan Monastery after the meeting. May 15, River Tree Center for the Arts, Kennebunk--Plein air painting equipment. Paint-out at Kennebunkport beach after the meeting. June--no meeting July--Chocolate Church Arts Center, Bath, International Juried Exhibition. No meeting. August--no meeting September 18, Warren Memorial Library, Westbrook--Robert Louden, "The Philosophy of Art," art critics and the ethics of art. Paint-out after the meeting TBA. October 16, Warren Memorial Library, Westbrook--Ann Kimmage, yoga and relaxation techniques. Painting after the meeting TBA. November, no meeting--Short business update during Members Show Reception, November 7, 5-7 pm December--no meeting

2009 Paint-Outs
2009 Paint-outs will be posted in February or March of 2009. Schedule is subject to change. Schedules with directions, etc. are sent monthly. Weekly reminders are sent via email on the weekend prior to the outing only to those who have indicated they are interested.
